Nevada SBA to Honor Top 2016 Lenders at Award Luncheon
Las Vegas, NV - The Nevada SBA team along with its resource partners, community partners and small business clients will gather on May 4, 2016 to present the 2016 Small Business Week awards during the annual luncheon gala. The event, sponsored by Vegas PBS will be held at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino at 11:30 a.m. Lenders throughout the state will be honored and recognized during the event. Top lending partner awards are based on total SBA dollar volume ranking during a period of continuing economic recovery throughout the state.
“Financing is crucial to small business start-ups and to existing businesses ready to expand, contract with the government and export. The SBA has streamlined the lending process to encourage access to capital, and we are pleased that banks have responded. Today we recognize their efforts in financing our state’s small business growth,” said Bob Holguin, Nevada SBA District Director.
The 7(a) Loan Program is the most frequently used financing program for start-up and existing small businesses. The SBA’s 504 Loan Program provides businesses with a long-term, fixed-rate financing to acquire major fixed assets such as equipment or real estate. The Microloan program provides loans up to $50,000 to help small businesses start up and expand.
